Rosalia Vila who is also referred to as Rosalia Rosaly, is an Spanish flamenco singer from Spain. As as a teenager, the singer is a singer in traditional and popular music. However, her music interests extend to other genres including hip-hop and soul. Her voice has been described by no less a musician than flamenco Pepe Habichuela as sweet and sharp, but with a bite like the older versions. Following her debut album Los Angeles garnered attention from the U.S. public and earned the singer an Latin Grammy nomination for Best New Artist The follow-up album she released in 2018 El Mal Querer was a significant commercial and critical success topping Billboard's Latin Pop Albums chart and ultimately winning an Grammy. The song La Fama featuring the Weeknd appeared in 2021. Motomami the third album by her comprised songwriting collaborations featuring Cory Henry, James Blake along with other artists. It was released the month of March, 2022 following a performance of the song Chicken Teriyaki on Saturday Night Live. Rosalia became the first Spanish soloist to perform on Saturday Night Live. In addition to winning three other Latin Grammy Awards for Motomami Rosalia was also the first woman to win the Latin Album of the Year twice.
