Ana Gonzales bio

Ana Gonzalez de Jorgenson, the daughter of a musician from Mexico, was born to an adored family of musicians. As a child, she was exposed to a lot of traditional music as well as traditional Boleros. Also, she listened to traditional romantic ballads and ranchero. Ana loves tangos as well opera and dramatic performances. She started singing and studying songs with her mother then began more intense training in singing at the age of 16 under the renown Mexican Tenor Flavio Becerra. In the School of Music of Guadalajara University and the School of Sacred Music of Toluca in Mexico continued her music education. In Guadalajara and Mexico City, she was a member of many opera ensembles as well as chamber groups. She was a member of the Fort Lauderdale Symphony Chorus in the United States before moving to the southern part of California. She sings as a soloist Latin American music for private functions and as a member Ensemble XXI in Redlands. As an instructor and performer in the local area and instructor, her passion for arts and music keeps her involved in a range of initiatives. Ana is also a former member of Community Chorus of Redlands as and The Inland Master Chorale and Performance Loft. Ana appreciates being able to share her love and passion of traditional Latin American songs with others and, in the process hopes to impart a desire, especially among younger generations in order to keep the music alive and alive.Viva Mexico!
